Vintage Couture - Video Editorial
I was just looking through posts on my blog and I have no idea how this happened but I forgot to share w/ you the gorgeous Video Editorial for Vintage Couture Week from Lilogi! Seriously, I don't know how I missed this one since it was literally one of our most elaborate shoots to date in terms of wardrobe, set and just sheer extravagance!

Vintage Couture
So last wk was Vintage Couture Week at Lilogi and boy was it an extravagant and eccentric mix of glamour and fashion. All the clothes were of course Vintage Couture pieces from an AMAZING Vintage shop in Toronto aptly called Vintage Couture. Seriously, as you can tell from the pics below the clothes were out of this world and it's so amazing to see how these beautiful crafted pieces of art still stand the test of time and looking gorgeous and glamorous even today.
The people at Lilogi (esp. Alex) also did an insane job w/ the set! You guys don't even know the amount of flowers Alex got for this shoot...seriously it was crazy! Plus check out the china in the dining room shots...ummm hello!!! That's taking it all to another level lol!
The feel Lilogi was going for in the shoot was sort of like a solemn little girl lost sort of idea. Very reminiscent of Gwyneth Paltrow's character in The Royal Tenenbaums - dark, eccentric, depressed. I think Danielle did a great job in capturing this mood throughout the shoot...very haunting.
For her makeup and hair I wanted it again to have a very similar feel to Gwyneth aka pin straight hair w/ a deep part and a smokey smudgey eye...not really perfect, almost slept in and a little messy.
There's also an amazing video for this shoot too so stay tuned for that!
